An update which resolves this issue for the Harvest Android App has been submitted to Google for approval, and should be available soon. It might be available already for some customers. Around 14:01 UTC (10:01 EDT) we rolled out a production deployment which caused an unexpected issue on the database cluster. For around 1 minute some customers received errors from Harvest, while this situation recovered at 14:02 UTC (10:02 EDT). We are very sorry for this interruption! We are taking steps to avoid this issue in the future.

Harvest Availability Issue
Around 11:08am (EDT) this morning, a small configuration change was made to Harvest's load balancers. This change caused Harvest to serve approximately 50% of requests incorrectly for around 3 minutes. This meant that half of requests to Harvest failed. The error was quickly reverted, but unfortunately, because of browser caching, some customers continued to suffer from the earlier error for longer than 3 minutes. In fact, it is possible that some customers are still being served errors by Harvest. If you are receiving an error on Harvest, please close your browser, reopen your browser, and then reconnect to Harvest. You might need to clear your browser's cache as well. If you are still having trouble, please get in contact with support@harvestapp.com. We are very sorry for this problem, and the inconvenience this caused to all customers.

Overnight we performed exhaustive verification of all databases after yesterday's service outage. We have verified that all databases in all of our locations are 100% consistent, and we have now restored the database cluster back to full power. Sincere apologies for yesterday's issue, it was caused by failures of two different components, and we are implementing controls to prevent this from happening again.

Network Issue
Our datacenter provider is researching the cause behind a 1 minute network issue which was detected around 4am EDT on Friday May 30th. Our monitoring systems detected a network issue possibly affecting East Coast USA customers, however before investigation could begin the issue had cleared. This issue was most likely a temporary peering problem with an ISP servicing East Coast USA customers.

Application Performance Issues
Harvest experienced performance issues related to some newly deployed code. The system failed to process a percentage of customer requests during this time. The issue lasted for around 20 minutes. We are very sorry for the interruption in service and are keeping this event open while we investigate the root cause.

Application Performance Issues
This morning as of 9:30am EDT, we are noticing some connection issues with our load balancers and also some high levels of system load throughout our cluster. This may affect customers using Harvest. Very sorry for the interruption and we are working to stabilize all systems. These issues were caused by steps taken while patching systems as part of remediating the Heartbleed issue. We are very sorry for the problem and all systems are stabilized again.
